Quality home from home day care all year round

Welcome

Trinity Day Nursery opened on 10th April 2012 in Trinity Street in Gainsborough.
We are Ofsted registered to provide care for up to 80 children from 3 months to 5 years from 8am to 6pm 50 weeks of the year.
The nursery was designed to be a home from home and all the rooms have been decorated and furnished to a high standard to enable children to feel comfortable and secure. Children are encouraged to be independent within the nursery with access to water at all times and sinks at their level so that they can wash after painting with minimal adult intervention.
Staff and children all sit around the table for snacks and meals and are encouraged not only to serve themselves but get their own cutlery and plates. The table is set with a cloth and a vase.
Breakfast, snacks and tea is provided and children bring in a packed lunch to enjoy with the adults.
The outdoor area was definitely a work in progress when the nursery opened and the staff have all had an input in how it should look as well as the children. We will endeavour to include parent’s ideas and offers of support have been put forward by parents to come in and work alongside staff and the children outdoors. The children looked through catalogues and cut out pictures of things they wanted to see and have really enjoyed contributing to what we hope will be an amazing outdoor facility.
The nursery also has its own training suite attached to the main building but with secure separate entrance so that we can put on training for our own staff and host meetings with other providers as well as hopefully in the future being able to run training and groups for parents and the local community.
Baby Lounge
A nurturing, home‑like environment that supports babies’ emotional well‑being. Offering sensory exploration through treasure baskets and daily activities., the calm, stimulating atmosphere encourages communication and responsiveness.
Grandma's Snug
For our two to three year olds, this room provides lots of 'fun on the floor'.
Children make choices and are given space and time to explore personal interests and thoughts
Grandad's Study
We prepare children for the transition to school with a focus on early literacy, numeracy, and social skills through engaging and interactive learning experiences.

Outdoors
We have a ‘wild’ garden of awe and wonder and children have discovered all sorts of wild life and bugs, as well as hiding amongst the blue bells. We have a separate baby garden as well as raised beds. This is still an on-going project.
